Hamza Myatt's Ignorance of Church History



Hamza Myatt, a well known dawah missionary who is on the EFDawah team (one of whose main goals is to proselytize Christians), made some very interesting comments on a livestream called "Preservation of the Qur'an" [link]. You can hear his exact words in the clip below:

Luther died years before Servetus' execution





The individual who had the "beef" with Servetus was none other than John Calvin. However, Calvin did not "murder" Servetus, unlike what is commonly told by anti-Calvinist polemicists.


"Calvin had wanted Servetus to recant, not die, and in that respect victory belonged to the Spaniard." (Bruce Gordon, Calvin, pg. 223)
